This is the last of the Burke Brothers, and I was reluctant to read it because once I do, then the brothers stories are over. Nevertheless read it I must.

Chelsey is a woman who has been through so much and bears her scars due to her life experience. She is over the top in this book and despite her past, she irritated me so much. I did end up thinking how are you going to redeem her but as I kept reading, I saw how tortured her soul was.

Kye, oh my Kye, he’s the quiet mysterious brother but he loves so damn deeply and the moment he realised how Chelsey saw him, he backed off. He wanted to find a way to fix her perception of him as a man. That truly was the moment I fell so much more in love with him.

“Perfection is overrated”

Oh my Charley, despite her tough exterior, all she truly wants it to be loved and cherished. She spends a lot of this book trying to fight her true feelings for Kye but well Kye is Kye, he won’t accept that.

Charley doesn’t believe in herself, she doesn’t believe that she deserves happiness but Kye forces her to realise that he is all that she needs.

Mila’s crying and their dropped plans to surprise them for Christmas had me grinning like a fool. I’m just in love with this book, in love with the story, and I cant explain how sad I feel that it is over for the boys.

“When the Burke boys love, they love with everything they have, and are. When the Burke boys love, they love forever.”

This line sums up the entire series of the Burke brothers, oh my heart is sad that it is over but happy that each brother gets their happy ever after.

The epilogues were so bittersweet but apt for each couple.

Emma’s writing is guaranteed to get to your heart, and squeeze every last little bit of love you have in there.

4 stars!

I didn't want to start this book....for no other reason than it was the last in an awesome series and I really didn't want to part with the Burke brothers.

Kye is the quietest of the Burke brothers. He's the planner. Chelsey is very guarded and to me was quite a hard character to relate to in the beginning. Once the story unfolded, you completely understood and sympathised with her.

I really enjoyed Kye and Chelsey's story. I loved seeing Chelsey's resolve crack piece by piece and how her heart slowly opened to Kye. I knew Kye would be the sweetest of the brothers and I fell a little bit in love with him myself....there's no way you couldn't.

As the story went on, I got lost in the fact that this was the final book in the series. I totally loved the ending as I feel it concluded it nicely.

Once again, another 5 star book from Emma Hart, bravo!

Wow just wow. Just loved kye and chelsey's story. Chelsey has a famous father so knows what it's like to be in the public eye constantly so her attraction to kye is something she doesn't want as she knows the attention it can bring. Kye is the quiet, sexy Burke boy we've all been waiting to meet! Chelsey is a bitch but kye doesn't let that fool him or put him off. Never wanted this book to end, had me hooked from the start

Love all the Burke brothers but think Kye might just be my favourite!! He's lovely and him and Chelsey are perfect for each other. Was sad to finish this book because it's the last in the series but enjoyed the epilogue at the end where we got to catch up with all the brothers. Would have liked to have heard more about Leila hoping she might get her own book in the future.

Kye Burke is my favourite of Emma Harts male characters, he was sweet and caring and constantly thought of Chelsey before anything. sometimes he could over think things a little, but he always made sure to do the best for others. Chelsey is also another favourite, I could see some people may not always like her but I thought the way she was guarded and hesitated to jump in with Kye was great. it showed that not everything is plain sailing. I loved how she didn't make it easy, her past had marked her and that was the drama in this book. It was great that with the fame the boys had and Chelseys history that there wasn't a lot of over the top drama, just people with normal problems. I've loved every book I've read by Emma Hart so far but this is definitely in my top ten.

This was my first Emma Hart read though I doubt it'll be my last. While this is the fourth book in this series it can totally be read as a standalone and the author does a great job of backfilling essential bits of the previous stories. I'm intrigued enough by the other characters to want to check out the previous books.

I really warmed to Kye Burke from the outset. He was sexy, sweet, witty and so caring and protective of Chelsey despite the fact that she regularly blows hot and cold on him. I loved how he didn't give up on her even when she was downright nasty to him. That's not to say that he was a walkover - because he most definitely wasn't. He challenged her and ultimately made her face up to things. Kye is easily the best thing about this book.

Chelsey was such a refreshing female lead. She was an out and out bitch, and I don't just mean a snarky, sassy type. She was MEAN, but I actually loved it, and she gave me some great laugh-out-loud moments. And it's not all a facade to hide her true persona though that was partly the case, but she does have an inherent mean streak.

I really enjoyed Emma's writing style, and she writes superb, sharp, humorous dialogue. All characters were solidly developed, even the secondary characters, and the romance was steamy without being too hot. The book flowed at a nice pace and there weren't any slow, repetitive, or overly descriptive parts. A nice even read. The plot is very predictable though but it wasn't a major issue as I think that's pretty much par for the course with these types of books.

In summary, this was a fab read and I'd highly recommend it to fans of NA/Contemp women's fiction

Thanks to the publisher and Insklinger PR for providing a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
