I loved this series, while I'm still team Cal and Zelda I did love Rowan and Ava too.
No matter which Sister or what Royal brother it is there is always trouble, so Ava and Rowan's story is no different.
Ava is Rowan's Queen Regent and his love knows no bounds, while knowing her past was difficult one but with her love for Rowan helping her healing, but she's very resilient never forgets her past and wants, no needs, to help children like her.
No matter where the trouble come from and there is always trouble, which ensues a thrilling story that we've come to expect from this series, the suspense, the hotness make this for another fantastic read from Tia Louise and I can't wait to see what's next.
This is our second instalment of Rowan & Ava's story and it didn't disappoint!
Whilst you could enjoy the book as a standalone it would be best to read the previous books in the Dirty Players series to get the background. We already know that Rowan and Ava are head over heels about each other and their marriage is certainly red-hot in the bedroom department too!
Rowan is the sexy King with a penchant for speed and is besotted by his dark-haired wife and queen consort Ava.
The only problem is that she has a history of thieving and is an expert pickpocket and finds it a hard habit to break. This turns out to be a good problem to have as Rowan has a way of punishing
Ava which they both enjoy far more than they should! Add to that the fact that Ava and Rowan decide to try for a baby and there are more sexy times than you can shake a stick at !!
There is drama when a vile character from Ava's past comes back in to their lives and this puts Rowan on full-on 'husband protector' mode. There are sweet interactions between sisters Ava and Zelda and Ava's project to help orphans is heartwarming.
A great mix of romance, sexy times, drama, suspense and a sizzling epilogue <3
I'll start by saying this is part of a series and you really will not get the full impact of this story unless you read at least the first two books in the series before jumping into this one.
Louise returns to her Dirty Player world with Dirty Thief and it is just as fun and sexy as the previous three books. We finally get to spend more time with Ava, the beautiful, spunky Thief that stole the heart of King Rowan. If you're like me, you probably loved them in the previous books. I was wanting more of their story and was thrilled when I found out book four was all about them.
Ava and Rowan's love and passion literally jumps off the page. I love the BDSM aspects of their bedroom play and both characters have such fun and captivating personalities. The suspense was at the forefront of this story since a man from Ava's past shows up and it brings her life into turmoil.
I'm a long time fan of Tia Louise, having read basically everything she has written to date and I have a real soft spot for her Dirty Players series. Spunky Thieves and the Royalty that fall for them is such a great premise and she executes it perfectly. Great addition to the series!
I LOVE this book!
Another 5 star read from the wonderfully talented Tia Louise. Dirty Thief is hot, dirty, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I couldn't put it down. I found myself wanting to read faster to know what happened but yet I didn't want it to end.
I love everything about this series as it's packed with hot steamy scenes and dangerous gripping storylines. FIVE smoking hot stars!!
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
