UK release was later than Europe so I got an imported copy.
Great album, if you like Krokus (or AC/DC) this will be right up there with your favourite albums.
Great alternative version of Help !.
I reckon this is as good as "Voodoo" and sits just behind "Hellraiser" for quality and longevity.
A good rocking album.

I was looking foreward to this one. I like krokus a lot, and Hoodoo was a fine return, This, their latest effort, is surprisingly weak. It is more Rock n' Roll than Heavy. Actually it reminds me a bit of The Georgia Satellites. A couple of songs is okay, but most of it is slightly dull, and the band completely loses it, when they decide to do the most awful cover of a Beatles song I have ever heard. The version of Help is a real show stopper. Ohh dear, Krokus, hope you can do better than this.

Ive read one review of the one and it describes it as a lame rock n roll output WELL NOTHING CUD BE FURTHER FROM THE FACT!! this is a truly well ROCKING album excepting for 2 tracks in the middle ( beatles cover of Help and Better than Sex ; every other track puts a darn good smile on your face thatll last all day now thats pretty good aint it ; all i can say is get Krokused cos it a great hard rocking place to be.Oh and if i wanna be contraversial AC/DC would do well to turn out this calibre of music.Buy it and SMILE!! Maximus Metallicus.

First off i will be honest,i have not purchased this c.d for the simple reason,i have listened to it and was not impressed. I have liked Krokus for a helluva long time and i was looking forward to this....but it is so lacking in any depth or emotion,it just sounds boring and very predictable. I suppose it may be a grower, but quite honestly i can't be bothered,i really expected more. And i thought AC/DC had lost it....oh well, maybe Airbourne's new one will be good!

Krokus hit a high point with Hellraiser. Their best record since Metal Rendezvous. Much derided by the ignorant, trendy music press as an AC/DC copy band, they are much, much more than that. Classic hard rock with a swagger. The new album is, well here it comes.....it's the best Bon Scott AC/DC record since Powerage. On some tracks Marc sounds so much like Bon it's scary. I know that's outrageous, but it's my opinion. And it does not make this a bad album. It's not Hellraiser but it's so much better than DC's Black Ice. Classic hard rock. Krokus are back. If you're into Bonafide, Airbourne, & the Young brothers, then buy this.

Krokus return once more to the 80s, similar to their previous offering Hoodoo, retaining most of the original members from their big four albums. There's no hidden agenda; 45 minutes long, 3-4 minute tracks of sleazy hard rock n' roll sung superbly by Marc 'more Bon than Bon' Storace. No fillers, all the tracks are good and very catchy; a few fast pace, a few bluesy, a few very rock n' roll and a covers song that I actually like this time, (turning a pop song into a power ballad). If a certain Aussie band had produced this it would do extremely well!

If you expect real rock forget it; blues is more like it. If you didn't like Hoodoo you will not like this either. After so many great albums these guys need a "Change Of Address" .... new blood... new riffs.... or just taking a long break....
