OK deep breath! It's filthy, it's extreme and having now finished, I rate this on par with Dirty Bad Strangers, which up until reading Secrets, it had been my favourite in the Dirty Bad series so far.

That said, I won't deny I was disappointed at first as I didn't instantly like Faye, unlike Jade's past leading ladies and I found her a very much "pity me" character. Don't let this deter you though. Faye is complicated and as the title of the book suggests, she has many secrets that will be revealed throughout the story.

Having left her business partner Andy in the lurch for over three years, emotionally broken she reappears and wants to regain control of her club as well as her life. Both Andy and Faye struggle with who is in charge in both business and pleasure, which leads to explosive hot dirty scenes between them. Flashbacks of Faye's experiences during her absence are cleverly weaved throughout the book and in turn I found that I gradually connected with her and could forgive some of her annoying traits.

As with Jade's other books, the supporting characters always add sparkle to the story and I just loved Topaz who works behind the bar at Club Explicit. I hope to see her feature in future books.

Congratulations Jade on another success and I can't wait to see what you have in store for your readers next!

This is one of those books at the end you sit back and say, "what the fooking hell, no way I enjoyed that!" But I did, because it's so damn hard not to.

The content goes against anything even the die-hard BDSM fans love to read, Jade West is literally the Queen of filthy but done her way, filthy with romance. There's no-one that can touch her on these stories.

She delivers brutal and whams it at you at rocket pace and you squirm. Oh how you squirm! But no-one can say who truly reads this and 'gets' the story behind the 'dirty' that it's anything other than top notch bloody writing. If this receives low reviews it down to the reader not stomaching the content, and that makes me mad, they shouldn't have tried it, there's enough warnings. I couldn't stomach some of the content but hell yeah I've five starred it because I wasn't meant to be writhing on a bed of roses in a hedonistic trance, I was meant to be in that office, on that gurney, in the playroom and in that shady sex-camp of Vincent’s. Oh how I wanted that man's demise. What an absolute ...... ..... ..... (bleep bleep bleep) he is!

Fair play to Jade, she warns, oh how she warns move along if you cannot read the dirty that goes on. On that note, would I ever want to be Faye? - Hell no! Did it stop me from feeling empathy and liking her and but also being frustrated, horrified and permanently have my legs closed and arse clenched - hell no! I think Faye was written absolutely spot on. And as for Andy well, again, I felt his emotions, I felt his reasonings, I felt him - I also felt his pain! (Yes I just shuddered!) I loved his dominance and I loved how he was with Faye.

Jade West does it again! A page-turner of a dirty, bad book that is absolutely awesome. The BDSM in this novel switched between Dom and Domme and I loved the originality of that. The passion between the two main characters, their love/hate relationship, made for a compelling read. Faye is a complex protagonist, full of contradictions, which make her really human. I didn't like her much at the start of the book, but grew to like her by the end. Not everyone will like her. Not everyone will like the rawness of her actions. But Jade West has developed her into a three-dimensional heroine and I think she will be analysed by readers for years to come. For me, she absolutely made this book and outshone the hero, Andy.

I loved the authors previous books so I was really looking forward to this one. As expected the writing was excellent, vivid dialogues and the sex scenes were dirty. However I didn't like the plot as a whole and the lead female I didn't like. Its definitely worth a read from the writing alone.

I'm still not sure what to make of this book, I've read all of the Dirty Bad Series so I knew what to expect lots of filthy dirty sex and it does delivery on that level, I actually think it's Jade's dirtiest book. The problem I had with this book is the level of pain that each character has to endure to reach their pleasure if I'm honest it was a little too much for me.
Dirty Bad Secrets takes us behind the scenes at club Explicit to its owners Andy Morgan and Faye Devere. Faye has been away from club Explicit for three years, for the last three years Andy has managed the club alone without his partners help but now Faye is back and she wants 50% of her club back, she wants an equal partnership of her club and Andy Morgan one will be easier than the other!
The chemistry and banter between Andy and Faye is off the scale leading to some real angry sex. I love that Faye was often in the driving seat when it came to her relationship with Andy - two doms butting heads is never going to end well, one is going to have to submit ......... Eventually !
Like I said I'm still unsure about this book some parts were hard to read but that's a given with Jade's books, I enjoyed the relationship between Andy and Faye but felt their pain barriers were a little too much for me.
At the beginning of the book Jade explains that this book is full of raw dirty sex and if that's not your thing then this book won't be your cup of tea I've read all the previous books in the series and this book pushed my reading barriers so be warned before you read !
