About the Author

Dr Alexander Loos (editor and author Germany), is an of Counsel with Hogan Lovells International LLP at Düsseldorf. He has considerable experience as counsel and arbitrator in post M&A and construction disputes especially for power plants and infrastructure projects. After legal studies at the Universities of Marburg and Münster, he was admitted to the German Bar in 1978, was head of the firms international corporate practice group until 2001 and joined Hogan Lovells LLP as a partner in 2002. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London and a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), of the German-Brazilian Law Association, of the German-Japanese Law Association (DJJV), of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA), as well as of the German Institute of Arbitration (DIS). --This text refers to an alternate Hardcover edition.
