David Jones is a professional photographer with an extensive commercial portfolio, particularly in the fashion and advertising industries. He has also been widely exhibited and contributed photographs to many magazines and books, including Brunel, How to Keep Dinosaurs and Master Chef.

He brings with him a wealth of experience in all areas of the photographic industry having spent almost 24 years as a journalist, author, photographer, and digital camera and technology specialist.

Doug is the author of the UK’s No1, bestselling, The Digital Photography Handbook, Snap It, a pocket guide to better camera phone photography and he is also the technical advisor to John Freeman for John's the Digital SLR Handbook.

Doug has also written extensively for many digital photography websites and magazines including www.Pocket-Lint.com, What Digital Camera, Amateur Photographer, Total Digital Photography, Canon Professional Network, Digital Photographer, and www.fourthirds-user.com; Professional Photographer, Photography Monthly and Digital Camera Buyer.
