This is a very practical guide to statistics for archaeologists, just like the title would imply.

If you need detailed mathematical derivations of formulas, this is not the right text, but if you just want to know the minimum necessary to get the job done, buy this book.

this is a much needed upgrade with an excellent chapter on using SPSS for windows. It has easy to follow screen shots and Gary Lock is the man!
