I am not generally a fan of romantic novels, I don't read many and wasn't particularly expecting much from this novel, but, really, to my surprise, It gently hooked me in and caught my interest. More, I began to care about Albert Maddy and Bee, warm to them and root for them. It was set in New Zealand - only the second book I have ever read set there, although the story is universal like all good love stories should be. I have read a lot of books recently with autism at its heart and Bee ... Her family's love for her and how autism touches on her family 's life felt authentic and real and just right in Its description. There is absolutely nothing to dislike in this book. It is charming, well written, the characterisation, the dialogue, the plot, the chapters split between Maddy and Albert keeping this reader's interest.

I really really enjoyed it. There are elements in the writing that reminded me of the way Jo Jo Moyes pulls you in to care about her characters.

I think this book needs a sequel. Hope there is one. A really lovely read.

I started reading this book and couldn't put it down. Tammy writes such wonderful heartwarming stories but this time has added the humour which all parents of autistic children find in their hectic and sometimes heartbreaking lives. As a grandmother of two autistic boys I appreciated the hard work that Maddy and her mother faced everyday with the love and determination to give Bee a happy and settled life. I chuckled many times when I recognized things done in true life that Bee did in this book. It has been so well researched .Well done Tammy again, another great read.

Another beautiful book from the wonderfully talented Tammy Robinson. I feel so privileged to have been given the opportunity to read this gem before publication. A captivating story following the character Maddy and her autistic sister Bee. Maddy absolutely adores Bee and is determined to be there for her sister. Maddy finds love but is torn between being there for her mum and sister and spending time with Albert. Breathtaking and heartbreaking, the emotions really take a battering.

This is a very poignant story of family life with an autistic child. The author tells it in such a compelling way that it is difficult to stop reading. I am very impressed by the sensitivity given to a subject that must be quite difficult for people to understand. I'm sure this gives a new insight to many people and full marks to Tammy on her heartening story of Bee.

Loved it! The author writes so brilliantly you can't help but fall in love with the main characters Albert and Maddy. The dialogue between them is excellent and made me laugh out loud at some parts. This story takes you through a range of emotions sadness, happiness, anger, frustration and makes you laugh and cry. All I can say is make it your next read, you won't regret it.

I read this book in two days, Tammy writes wonderful stories that stay with you. I lived in France some years ago and met Rachel and her family and to me Bee was Rachel. I could see her all through the book. I took Albert and Maddy to my heart too and really wanted them to have a happy life together. This is the second book I have read by this author and I will definitely be reading more of her books.

A lovely thoughtful book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this heartwarming story about a girl with two loves in her life, a boyfriend and an autistic sister. It's moving and funny and has a real insight into the joys as well as the problems of autism.
