About the Author

Caroline Stern wurde am 15. November 1979 in Plauen im Vogtland geboren. Schon während der Schulzeit träumte sie davon, ihr Leben vom Schreiben und Büchergestalten zu finanzieren. So studierte Stern Germanistik, Medienwissenschaften und Anglistik an der Universität von Marburg. Danach arbeitete sie als Reporterin und Übersetzerin in Hamburg, London, Paris und Namibia. Heute lebt Stern als Journalistin, Schriftstellerin und Buch-Designerin für Klassiker der Weltliteratur in Berlin. Kritiken, Artikel und Reportagen von ihr erschienen u. a. in der "Welt." Kurzgeschichten und Gedichte in verschiedenen Literaturzeitschriften. Ihr Romandebüt "Das Leben des Max Schmidt: Neuanfang" (Januar 2018) veröffentlichte sie unter dem Pseudonym Max - ein BoD-Bestseller nach nur drei Wochen und der coolste Berlin-Roman ever. Zum Werk von Caroline Stern gehört auch "Nichts." Ein Geschenkbuch für Erwachsene, die schon alles haben oder sich ausdrücklich nichts wünschen.
