this is totally amazing, a day after finishing the first book i had to get this book. And i was right about how good it was going to be. It is amazing again a felt like I was edie even though its totally different to my life. I cant wait to read the third book. This book is strange because you always know that edie and dylan are going to end up together even if it seems like it never will. I think this book its amazing and i highly reccomend it to everybody.

Dylan and Edie are finally together, but for how long? Misunderstandings, family issues and secrets stand in their way and do break them up. Again.
So whilst Edie was trying get past her broken heart and thinking of patching things up, Dylan messes up. Again. He is going out with Veronique. She is bitchy, selfish and hates Edie to the bones. Oh did I mention Carter, Veronique's cool, detached and weird brother who seems to hate Edie yet they they just can't stop kissing each other.
Will Edie make up with Carter? Can she get over Dylan? Is everything as simple as it seems with Dylan and Veronique? Why is Carter so cool are the rumours about him true? And, will Edie and Dylan kiss and make up???
I loved this book! It is filled with teen angst, humour and romance... Edie starts to change in this book a and we see as she starts to get more mature and reading about her and Edie is just so fun! Then the new characters are pretty cool as well cause they kinda stop it being the same old boring self and everything.
I loved DOAC French Kiss but I really think I loved this book much more! I'd recommend it to anyone who like teen/romance kinda things.
Enjoy!

Im certainly not claiming these books (that goes for all three in the series) are works of literary genius or anything but if you ever used to buy J-17 magazine, like I did, and follow the Diary of a Crush column religiously then you should definitely buy these books and take a trip back to younger years! I have to say, what did surprise me, was that I would still enjoy them now that Im a bit older, and that they would still be relevant.

Book 2 is probably my favourite as Edie does some growing up and is a tad more mature. She's getting over her shyness and getting a life of her own together, as opposed to one where she's just stalking her crush. I suppose the thing about these books is that everyone can identify in some way with Edie at some point.I highly recommend these books if you were a former fan - its grat reading all of the entires together as opposed to one monthly snippet. However,if you've never read or heard of the wonders of Dairy of a Crush then submerse yourself in a simple pleasure...

So this is book 2 in the wicked Diary of a Crush series. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as I did the first one, though. It follows Edie, now 17, who is thrilled when Dylan agrees to go out with her, but things soon start to go wrong and once again, bitchy Mia throws a spanner in the works. Edie spends a summer in Brighton to try and get rid of her heartbreak, but returns to find Dylan going out with the irritating Veronique. Veronique's brother, Carter, is just as awful, except Edie somehow ends up going out with him... This book had me biting my lip as I tried to work out what would happen at the end, and it had some surprising twists. Once again, it's a little frothy and girly, so read this if you liked the first book and don't think books need to be extremely solemn and 'meaningful.'

Can Edie ever get over Dylan? Why is Dylan dating Veronique? Why does she keep kissing Carter the boy she hates? What does the summer have in store?

I loved the first Diary of Crush, French Kiss but this was even better! I would say it's my favorite out of the trilogy.

Edie's growing up, learning lessons and making decisions, something we all have to do at some point. The Edie we loved is still live and kicking and you can still identify with her, well, I did any way!

All is not lost with Edie and Dylan. Or is it...

Undoubtable unmissable!

I love Sarra Manning's adult books and thought I'd enjoy seeing where it all started. I was especially touched to see she had dedicated these books to her Dad when all her fans are aware that she lost him recently.
