Diane Winger is a self-described "retired software geek" who loves hiking, rock climbing, and cross-country skiing when she isn't glued in front of her computer playing around with website designs, watching cat videos, and writing stories with outdoor adventure themes. She has prosopagnosia (face blindness), so be sure to re-introduce yourself whenever you meet her.
Diane is an enthusiastic volunteer with the service organization, Altrusa International. She is particularly passionate about literacy-related projects in her community.
Diane and her husband, Charlie, are co-authors of several guidebooks on outdoor recreation. They now live in western Colorado, but Diane was born and raised in Denver.
