The only difference between this guide and the limited edition is that this isn't hard back and doesn't have the extra art work, which did not matter to me since I have the collector's edition.
Now about the guide, it is quite easy to follow; the guide has all the information about character classes, bosses and side mission ranging in all difficulty modes. The bestiary is amazing; it has a lot of information from rarity of encounter to their hp in each difficulty level.
However one thing I was quite upset about was the maps, there are no maps on the guide, so it won't be clear still which way will take you to a random event, secret stash or which way will take you to the story. Fair enough the maps are randomly generated, but the main story maps are always remain the same.
Regardless the guide is simply nice to have, but for those who have already clocked the game the guide will be just for your collection and browsing for when you tackle the harder modes.
I give the book 9/10
my only issue with this guide is, now as of patch 1.0.3, the guide is out of date because Blizzard have drastically reduced the cost of training and crafting with the blacksmith and jeweller artisans. however it still serves as a nice reference point if you are partying with friends and they ask you a question about a skill and rune selection to which you can pick up this guide and advise your friends
For something advertised as "Complete 3D maps" it seemed to be quite short on them - to be honest, I couldn't find any at all! There's no helpful guide on what to look for, or where to go (not that you could go wrong with the linear progression of the game), so it's useless if you want it to tell you about those hidden caves that are not on the main storyline, it only lists (doesn't show you) what loot-able items look like, and nothing to hint at what you should be putting onto your character to be able to "play well".

This is not a strategy guide, it doesnt give a tactic or strategy, only introduces the game. But the art in the book is beatiful.Published on 23 Nov. 2012 by turkishseahawk
