Destiny's first year of college and lives with her brother David, his best friend and her friend Troy and destiny's friend Amy. Destiny and Amy are both in the school dance team and are excited for their first year. After a partying night and waking up in bed with Troy they both try to keep things normal and not let it ruin their lifelong friendship. Troy has an ex on the dance team and things between her and Destiny don't go well. With Troy and Destiny pretending to date to keep Buffy off Troys back the lines of friendship become more and more blurred, and Destiny realises she is in love with Troy.
I really enjoyed this story, it was sweet and wholesome. I loved the friendships, the banter and their relationships. When all their plans are upturned with a series of events, i really loved how they dealt with everything, and how as friends and siblings they all had each others backs. Troy was a great character, strong, sweet, loving, a little bit alpha and loyal! His love for Destiny shone through everything they faced.
This is a really sweet feel good love story and i'd definitly recommend it for an easy read that won't leave you in a slump !!

Am excited for the next book !!

This had a good story line that would have proved a much better book if I could have just connected with the characters but I really couldn't.

The blurb gives a nice overview of destiny and troy, long life friends, turning friendship into a relationship and the surprises (it's easy to guess) that come along with that. This would have made a good story of love and happiness but there were too many things in the way for me for that...
1) destiny acted like a completely full of herself spoilt brat
2) Troy tried to be a alpha male bit just didn't quite get it
3) most of the characters were a bit over the top (in an annoying way)

If you can get past some of the character issues the overall story is nice, with a HEA and some funny bits along the way, sadly it just wasn't for me :(

Did I like this book? Yes. But would I read it again? No, I don't think I could. The whole story seems to be on fast forward. It's well written but extremely rushed. They get together and then it just snowballs. An ok read but nothing to shout about.

Do not be fooled by the enticing plot description, you will be disappointed. After reading the first chapter I thought I could put up with the poor grammar and the continuous use of starting every sentence with 'I', I also thought I could put up with the annoying, self-absorbed, repetitive main character Destiny because I felt the story had potential. After a certain point in the book I continued reading only because I was expecting something to happen, there was hints dropped but nothing happened, that was the theme for the majority of the book. Literally nothing bad happened in this book, she did get pregnant but that wasn't a twist because it wasn't a problem to any character in the book; I felt like the book had started half way through as there wasn't much background information to either Troy or Destiny. By the end of the book I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, I really hated Destiny and at one stage I wanted something bad to happen to her, Destiny, who wanted to be a professional dancer, dropped all her dreams and followed her husband to Vegas to become a mother of two and a housewife with two years of university under her belt at the age of 18 or something, I wouldn't know because despite her baby ageing she didn't seem too. So thanks to a terribly infuriating main character, a pathetic story with no twists whatsoever and the non existing editing regarding the entire book I will never read a book by this author again.

For the first 25% or so i really enjoyed this book. I loved the romance & the getting together and then i started to see just how relentless this book is. Every single bit is totally amazing/perfect/faultless etc and reads like the dullest diary ever. I managed to stick with this nausiating book up to 80% in the hope that something might actually happen. It did not. No story here just a diary
