5.0 out of 5 stars Good Story: Great Spiritual Insight 19 Sept. 2016
By Wendy - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
This book does a great job of drawing you into Vedic philosophy by way of fiction. The story itself is well thought out. It starts off a little slow but picks up. Lots of action in the last half. It you like fiction and spirituality, this is a must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice book describing Vedic Religious Principles/Philosophy 3 Mar. 2008
By Robert Torzynski - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book is a fun read that seems (to my limited understanding) to provide a solid explanation of (Hindu | Vedic | Vaishnava) religion and philosophy. It is written in a novel format that makes it easy to read and does not leave the reader needing a break due to the heavy philosophical content. As a disclaimer, I am biased because I've read much of the material that Mr. Knapp provides at his website and through the Vedic Friends mailing list, but I do honestly believe that for anyone who's interested in God, the individual Spirit-Soul, and the relationship between the two, this book is well worth the read.

The comparison that I would make would be between this book and Carlos Castenada's books. This book, with a couple of re-writes could easily exceed the "wow" factor that sold Castenada's books. However, even though the production values of the book could benefit from some improvement, the ideas discussed within the story represent the pinnacle of Human understanding. In other words, even though this book is not perfect, it is fun to read and the ideas and concepts discussed are essential to Self-Realization.

3.0 out of 5 stars Teriffic Spiritual Novel ! Deserves to be made into a Graphic Novel 31 May 2013
By HarmonyBlogger - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I agree with the earlier writer. The deeper concepts are nicely interwoven. TO ENGAGE AND CONNECT WITH THE GENERATION X & Y AND THE MILLENNIALS HE SHOULD HAVE THIS CONVERTED TO A GRAPHIC NOVEL ; and if interested : he should forward this novel to a phenomenal Indian Graphic Novel Company : http://campfire.co.in/

they might pick up this novel for their next Graphic Novel - they have produced a cool LORD KRISHNA GRAPHIC NOVEL
