2.0 out of 5 stars Should be titled "fundamental theory leading to KPIs" 1 Aug. 2013

Perhaps it me expectations were too high but I was essentially looking for process metrics, their application and implementation. The title and sneak peaks convinced me that this one would have such information which wasn't the case.

3.0 out of 5 stars promising heaven delivering earth 3 Mar. 2014
By Utkan Uluçay - Published on Amazon.com

I had big expectations. I did not find something totally new and attractive.
It is describing the idea of KPI and some implementation details.
Good for beginners..

It would be better if I could find dashboard samples, case studies..

I need to say that having a set of KPI doesn't mean that you are driving something. This is just an indicator. If you do not cause a change yo will not see a change in KPI either.

If you get rid of old set of KPI then you will löse your chance to Show how good you are doing in your way, in your time since you have alraedy lost data trend.
4.0 out of 5 stars Designing KPIs to Drive Process Improvement... 13 Feb. 2015

A quick read and great refresher. The author makes an excellent point that most KPIs focus on post data (past information). For those of us that have to create and maintain KPIs, we should also be thinking of creating more KPIs that represents the here and now! This would give you an opportunity to react and possibly correct a failing process.

It is a great book to get you started with key performance indicators.
Kpi's are a must know and apply to your business in modern times.
You have to keep up.
KPI's allow you to get the most out of your ERP software and to find where you have to improve.

Good for beginners but if you have worked on KPIs for a year, you should have an idea of most of the content already
