From the manufacturer
Derwent Coloursoft Colouring Pencils Tin
Derwent Coloursoft Pencils
The Coloursoft pencils have a soft, velvety strip, the softest in the Derwent range for the quick and easy application of rich, dense, bold, vibrant colour. Despite this, Coloursoft sharpens to a fine point and can be used for a wide range of drawing styles, from bold landscapes to detailed illustrations, portraiture and fashion design.
Soft, Wide, Blendable Colour Strips
The pencils wide colour strip makes them ideal for laying down solid blocks of intense colour quickly. The colour strength can be varied from faint and delicate to bold and intense by increasing or decreasing pressure on the page. The pencils enhanced formulation makes them highly blendable, allowing a range of subtly different tones to be created. They can also be used over a watercolour wash for depth of colour and subtle shading. The Derwent Blender pencil can help blend two or more colours together, softening and smoothing the colour on the paper.
Designed for Broad, Sweeping Strokes
The tin contains 24 colours from the Coloursoft range. The rounded barrel is ideal for broad, sweeping strokes and the pencils are easy to sharpen and break resistant, making them for long periods of use. This also makes them a right for use with Adult Colouring Books and Therapy Colouring Books

|Recommended Products||The Derwent Unwind in the Wilds Colouring Book allows you to colour and relax with individual or interactive designs which are partially completed to give space for you to finish yourself.||Ideal for use with coloured pencils from the Derwent range, the blender pencil helps blend two or more colours together and smooths and softens colour on the paper. The burnisher pencil provides a rich finish when used over layers of pigment, giving the image a polished or reflective look, making the colours appear brighter.||The Derwent Battery Operated Eraser can correct small areas of work but also create patterns, shapes and areas of highlights.|

However, there must have been a hiccup at the packing plant. Instead of 72 different colours, the box contained duplicates of Lincoln Green and Ochre. It's not a huge problem at all but having paid for, and looked forward to, a box of 72 different colours, it would be nice to be able to enjoy them.
I shall be returning this set and hope that the replacement will arrive very soon.
