Dermalex Repair Eczema for Babies and Children
What is Eczema?
Atopic eczema is the most common form of eczema and is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition that can occur anywhere on the body. Eczema varies significantly from person to person and comes in many different forms.
In Eczema sufferers, the skin’s protective barrier is reduced due to breakdown of the intercellular lipids. The loss of lipids results in a loss of moisture causing drying of the skin. This makes the skin vulnerable to external flare-up triggers such as irritants or allergens which can cause inflammation resulting in scaly, red, itchy skin.
Triggers and Symptoms
Symptoms often include:
- Drying of the skin
- Inflamed skin that becomes red and itchy
- Scaly skin
The exact cause of eczema is unknown. You might have inherited a tendency for eczema or have a family member that has eczema.
There is no cure, but it can be managed successfully by avoiding triggers such as stress, soaps and detergents and using Dermalex to restores the skin’s barrier and protect and soothe the skin.
How Dermalex works?
Dermalex’s formula is absorbed into the upper layer of the skin, moisturising the affected area. Dermalex also replenishes the missing lipids to restore the skin’s protective barrier, reducing any further moisture loss and preventing allergens and irritants from entering the skin.
Subsequently, Dermalex’s barrier repair accelerating complex helps provide an environment which stimulates the skin’s own repair mechanism. By accelerating the barrier repair, Dermalex is clinically proven to relieve eczema symptoms, whilst being free from steroids. *Data on file
Dermalex has helped thousands of babies and children, like Nicola’s son from Aberdeen, manage the symptoms of Eczema.
“I have a 4 month old suffering with eczema. He has really been struggling with it at night time. He awoke every 2 hours scratching. He was admitted to hospital because his skin was so badly infected. After using Dermalex, his skin now feels baby soft and there’s not a hint of eczema in sight. Dermalex has put a first time mother’s mind at ease. The relief I feel knowing my baby is no longer bothered with itchy sore skin. He now sleeps through the night and awakens happy. Thank you”
Dermalex is clinically proven to be effective and relieve Eczema symptoms, whilst being free from steroids.

The little fella suffers terribly with his hands, feet and back. Two weeks of Dermalex has virtually cleared the inflammation and scratching on his feet and back and there has been a 70% improvement on his hands with signs of further improvement . Scratching has reduced dramatically and he is much happier
I would have given 5 stars but gave 4 due to the price, we have to be quite liberal with the cream and therefore the larger tube lasts about two weeks making the treatment very expensive. We are hoping to reduce the amount of usage in time
N.b. Bought the first tube from the chemists who stated that they had received a lot if positive feedback about the product
6 months later
Have been using dermal ex for 6 months now and my sons skin has improved dramatically , we use he dermal ex as a barrier , with a tiny amount on his problem spot which s ankles and hands, however he suffers literally no discomfort these days - any flare up we use HC45 and this item - the two combined restore normality overnight - brilliant - it deserves five stars , but not at the price being charged
This is not a stand alone product and should be used with rich, fragrance free and soap free cleansing products that don't contain sodium lauryl sulphate, getting the right cleanser can both help prevent flare-ups and also treat eczema. Cleansing products and rich creams containing cholesterol, glycerin, colloidal oatmeal, urea and ceramides play a key role in helping to support the skins barrier repair function. First Aid Beauty, CeraVe, Eucerin, Aveeno, Avene and Cetaphil, all do good ones.
