If You Suffer From Depression There Is Definitely Something In This Book For You

Depression is such a terrible affliction to deal with and it can strike any of us at any time for a variety of reasons. If it does what do we do? Well as someone who has endured the burden of "the black dog" on occasions I can appreciate the challenges people go through when they suffer. So having a resource you can turn to to help you cope with and perhaps beat it is going to be very useful indeed. Now if you are looking for a long and detailed academic look at the causes of depression and how to deal with it , then this book is NOT for you.
However if you want a quick read full of practical suggestions you can easily digest (in the state you are likely to be in when you need to reach out for this book) then this is definitely the book for you. It contains 40 ideas for you to beat the blues that presented in a simple format (tip and short paragraph explaining it) which is nicely illustrated to help you recall the ideas if you find yourself low and the book is not to hand. Not quite sure about the rationale of the way the tips are organised (tips 1-5, tips 6-10) because there doesn't appear to be any logic to the way they are grouped, but this is just a minor point and doesn't detract form the value of the advice offered.
