It is a little difficult to read as it was written centuries ago when our English language was different to how it has since involved. It is also in dialogue form but interesting to read how James I of England thought about the devil, demons and witches etc. His thoughts and ideas are obviously of the times in which he lived and this in itself makes it an interesting read and makes us realise how much time, thought and energy he and others put into deeply thinking about the subject which obviously took up a lot of their 'thinking time'. Much more, I assume, than is the case today. As a historical book with regards to the beliefs in witchcraft held in those times it is enlightening.

Very interesting read espesially from the perspective of a 16th Century kings view point. Intelligable piece of work and I did like the way it was written in the form of a Ddialogue. Which gave it that nice authentic read.

I bought this book as I thought I could maybe learn a thing or two about this subject. But when It arrived it was written in what appears to be "Olde English". I have read a little but it is impossible to understand and I gave up and it now lives in a box under my bed.
