I've had one of these for years, it's one of the few choices left still if you like 16x10 monitors (I find the extra height really nice). I found three models around when I shopped for a new one a month or two ago: this one, the newer model from Dell with the smaller bezel, and one other from another manufacturer. Being happy with previous Dells I went with them again. I've used both of their 16x10 monitors, and not liking the rather unresponsive buttons on the newer model (though actually the "real" buttons on this one aren't much better), I went with this one -- it being cheaper than the newer model helps. I've not noticed a difference in the actual display quality.
The stand is great: easy to adjust for height, tilt, and rotation. I always find all stands don't go high enough for me, so I just sit the base on a couple of books. These days you can get great cheap 3rd party stands on an adjustable arm if you want something better. The whole screen rotates easily by ninety degrees -- you can use it in that portrait orientation if you like, but I just find it really useful for plugging in cables!
Certainly as others have noted, the current stock of this model does have a quite significantly lower colour temperature than the same model that I bought perhaps 7 or 8 years ago: it looks yellower/redder than the other one, before adjusting. However, I found that using the colour temperature setting in the menu I could easily set it to something that looks quite normal to me. I'm sure I'm not very picky about this sort of thing though. Maybe the reason they've changed the default is that people have got used to timed colour temperature adjustments at night by default on Apple products etc.?
The one I bought close to a decade ago still works fine -- it was just getting a bit dim for something I use for hours on end every day for work. I've kept it for a room that's a bit darker. I'm expecting this one lasts as well!
