This book helped me overturn an incorrectly awarded accelerated possession order, get my now former (thankfully!) landlord to refund my deposit in full, gave me confidence to chart deposit protection claim ensured I left my property when I wanted to, not because the landlord lied on their claim form. Probably the best value £60 I've ever spent. Book now has a good home with someone who does that sort of thing full-time.

i'm a LIP (i don't have a lawyer). This book is written by a Circuit Judge who is obviously very knowledgeable & experienced. He says possession law is so complicated that it causes injustice. This complexity makes the book harder to read as there is a complicated rules for different types of tenancy eg the antisocial behaviour act allows landlords to demote tenancies to 1 year probationary tenancies so that if you behave badly you'll have to move out. He doesn't state it like that though. It's a little bit more aimed at professionals. i'm sure that it's possible to write a book that is easier for a LIP understand. I don't know if any book exists that has this high level of detailed information tho.
