Declan Duggan born in Dublin Ireland 1956, immigrated to Luton, England 1960
The youngest of 12 children,11 boys and 1 girl. Sacred Heart Juniors and Cardinal Newman secondary school,Luton from 1962-72. Electrician to 1988 then Publican and pub landlord for 25 years.
In 2002 successfuly lobbied the UK parliament for 4 years initiated "Duggan's Law" opened the "Kevin Duggan Golf Academy" in Luton the same year both are living memorials to Kevin aged 19 who was killed by a drunk driver on halloween 1998. Declan's story 'In the Name of the Son' was published in October 2012 at the House of Lords in London. Married to Derry with 6 children.
The book was featured at the Luton Book Festival in October 2014 and is used by the emergency servies and driving instuctors to help with road safety and saving lives on the UK roads.
