I loved the real story about Mia and her life and the way it developed, her sister and finding she had a brother, a good heart warming story, however I felt the wrap up at the end was unnecessary and detracted from the book or should I say books .Which didn't need to be so many but got that way and filled up extra pages with sex. Many of which I just flicked through to get on with the story.
This story could have been written as a trilogy , the 12 books as a concept was a good idea but would have been better as a month per chapter. I mean £24 for essentially one book ! But a clever play by the author and publishers . I would check to be sure it's just one book before reading this author again
Ps this should have been proofread before going to print the spelling and poor grammar spoilt it in places.
But in all the story kept me entertained and eager to read to the end.

Wow wow wow..loved them all. Had my favourites!
A friend told me about these books and I kept putting them off, I'm not really a series girl. But wow when I read the first it made me wish I started sooner. The good news was I didn't have to wait for the next book to be released. Now all I can say is I'm spreading the word, these books are amazing. Highly recommended for all. Xxx

Oh what a journey it has been... I was thrilled to start December but also sad at the same time. I wasn't ready to say "goodbye" to Mia. I took my time reading the last installment of the Calendar Girl series, enjoying each experience, each word, and rejoicing at how much Mia has grown throughout her year long journey.

In December, Mia has been sent to Aspen Colorado to interview local artists in the area. Wes and Mia invite both their families to come join them there for Christmas, bringing everyone together to celebrate life and how far they have come within the year. With Wes by her side, Mia has an encounter with the last person she ever thought she would see again, her mother. Unable to forgive the woman that destroyed her, Mia still couldn't hate her. Especially after finding out that her mother had a mental illness. Mia also had to come to grips that she no longer could save her father if he wasn't able to save himself. She had the love of a wonderful man, her siblings, and her new and old friends. She was the luckiest girl in the world and it was now time for her to live for her.

Audrey Carlan just made each month more and more compelling, leaving you wanting more and never disappointing. December summed up the series in such an eloquent way. I especially enjoyed Wes's POV in the epilogue and the little insert of where each of Mia's friends/encounters were now. Thank you Audrey for trusting the journey and sharing it with your readers. A++ lady!

I started to read January on the 22nd December and have spent all Xmas reading the rest! I feel like I have been on an incredible journey with all the characters especially Mia! The way it's been written just everything I loved loved loved! Hate that it's the end of the best series I have ever read ( and I have over 1000 books on my kindle) cannot praise this series enough! Thank you Audrey ❤️

I loved these books and each month was different and I couldn't wait for the next month. The final book finished off the journey and it was good to see what happened to everyone. Would highly recommend.

Since reading the first book I have been hooked to the series and mia's story, it has been up and down, especially the shock of Wes being kidnapped and her finally seeing her mum. A lot of drama, sex, and emotion. I just am gutted its ended. It would be great to read mias mums story, I feel that would be an interesting read, and mias best friend gin would make another interesting read. Please don't let this end!!!!
