Marion Babson is a well-renowned author of detective novels, comparable to Conan Doyle in his prime, and this one doesn't let her down ;o)

I love this author but this particular book was disappointing to me. I could not relate to the characters at all. The story centers around a young lady who plays the piano in a resort in England. Someone in the audience just sits and stares at her in a manner that would undoubtedly scare anyone. A body had been discovered on the beach the year before and the murder has not been solved. The village is fearful of being invaded again by motorcycle gangs who damaged their village the previous year and are
convinced that another murder could occur. I can't really say don't read the book. I'm sure someone would enjoy it. Just not me.
