It starts in the first few pages where we are asked to accept that his super fit field agent cannot follow two unfit terrorists through a jungle trail just 15 minutes old. Many more annoying small inconsistancies later we see our field agent suddenly transformed into de facto boss of the Mossad while the UK and USA governments who suffered much home damages seem to think their own agencies must rely on Mossad.
A great pity this book is such a flop as it has many similarities to the current post September 11th dramas despite being written 10 years ago.

Above all else, Thomas is a humanitarian. His books have purpose. He sees the bigger picture as both a journalist and investigative reporter. It was ingenious for Thomas to decide to add novel writing to his repertoire.
