I have to admit this is not a book I would usually choose, but decided to give it a try as have read other excellent books from this publishing house. I was unsure about it in the first couple of chapters, but carried on thankfully and found it was a thoroughly entertaining read, which I did enjoy emmenseley. I didn't know which way the book was going to end, this meant my housework had to wait as I kept reading! ;-)

This book was recommended to me for a holiday read. It was everything she said it would be and more. I usually lose interest in a book but not this one, it was an extremely enjoyable read giving me a good laugh and it had a great ending. A must read!

This book was recommended to me and once I picked it up, I literally couldn't put it down until I'd finished it which conveniently was during a holiday.

I found the journey with Ed (the main character) and his friends completely entertaining - funny, endearing and captivating. I found myself quickly warming to Ed's character, blushing on his behalf at his naivety clumsiness and initial lack of confidence in the various bumbling and hilarious situations he found himself in, in fact his character reminds me of a male Bridget Jones! A great, entertaining read with an unexpected ending that brought a smile to my face.

Looking forward to reading more from John P Gibson.

Started slow, however, l was soon hooked on Ed's escapades and just had to keep reading. Great book. It has a bit of everything humour, ethics, morals, romance and even gives 'Fifty shades of grey' a little competition! A great feel good factor book. Well worth the read. I thoroughly recommend it.

Absolutely great read! I loved Ed quickly. His character is so believable and honest. I laughed my way, often out loud, through his thought patterns and cringeful moments. His behaviour and thoughts however weird and hilarious make perfect sense when justified by his simple and clear logic. I enjoyed his relationships with all his characters and the insights that gave me. A great mix of pace and light heartedness yet thought provoking.
