Product Description

Romantic comedy horror (or romzomcom) in which a pair of zombies set off on a road trip to find ones long lost love. When Mike (Michael McKiddy) and Brent (Ross Kidder) awake during a catastrophic zombie outbreak the pair have different priorities to those around them. While all the other zombies simply want to consume flesh Mike and Brent somehow appear to have retained hopes and desires from their human days. Mike in particular is driven by the need to track down a lost love and declare his feelings for her and the buddies duly set off on a cross country adventure in search of the girl.

Let me start by saying, I simply loved Deadheads. Read further if you will, but you've got the general jist now.

The story opens with Mike, waking up on his own, completely oblivious to the fact that he's died, and is now a zombie.

Enter Brent - guide, new best friend and to be honest, the best looking zombie I ever saw. Brent helps Mike come to terms with being a zombie, and when he learns that Mike was on the verge of propsing to his girlfriend (before he died, that is), takes him on a mission to find his lost love (hence romzomcom).

The pair make a great on-screen duo - and we can't forget Cheese, their intellectually-challenged zombie friend - so trio - and they make for a lot of laughs and an incredibly endearing film. VERY highly recommended. Deadheads 2 anyone? Directors, are you listening?

Caught this film at FrightFest and was really looking forward to UK DVD release. It's a whole lot of fun and one I recommend to anyone who wants to see film makers step away from the cliched zombie film and try to do something different. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the lack of extras on the DVD. Apart from that, it's a great film that delivers gore, humour and entertainment in spades.

Yes folks this is a Zombie, Comedy, Road Movie with a love interest bags of laughs (you will split your sides - ho ho) and it is great fun. I will give you the basic synopsis. Two Zombies realise that they cannot only still speak but seem to have the ability of free thought, fear and sarcasm too. Mike Kellerman (Michael McKiddy) starts to remember when he was alive and things become clearer when he finds an engagement ring! Yes he was and realises he still is in love - bless. Only problem is he doesn't look his best, he has been dead for three years and apart from the obvious odour issues he has some noticeable bullet holes and his arm keeps falling off.

But help comes in the unlikely looking Brent Guthrie (Ross Kidder), a fellow sentient Zombie, who suggests that they ought to deliver the ring anyway just to put the record straight. This they decide to do and start their road trip with a great old guy Cliff and an adopted Zombie called `Cheese' who seems to respond to doggy commands rather than the usual human banter. Like all good road trips they only have one rule and this is? No eating humans - typical.

The sub plot comes in an evil drugs company who want them dead or experimented on or both, either way they really need to put some space between each other but it aint gonna be easy as they is some bad bottomed mother fornicator types.

This is a film I thought was going to be trashy and the only saving grace being able to fritter away an hour and a half, and I was way off the mark. It is a genre bender in the talking, thinking Zombie angle, but it really works. They are very aware of their situation and take it with acceptance, humour pathos and lots of cod psychology.

It's a different take on the ZomCom genre. Two zombie's who retain their human side and go on a quest to find one of their girlfriends.
Two offices that chase them along the way, one who looks like he's escaped from the "Blue Oyster Club".
It's silly in places, funny in others and weird in others.
On the whole watchable.

If the idea of a zombie not happy about being a zombie and going on a mission to get his intended back doesn't sound appealing to you,go elsewhere.
This is very funny in a ridiculous way. It is mainly about this guy who is killed in a way he struggles to remember. He comes across antother guy who appears to be fine with being a zombie and decides to help his (unimpressed to zombie life)new mate.
It is funny to see someone clearly miffed about being a zombie and refusing to join in with the flesh eating norm. Trying to look like a healthy human,he goes out to find his girlfriend, after a ring in his pocket jogs his memory. He starts remembering moments before his death and the story grows.
This is most unusual and I appreciated the new slant on zombie films,it's got some good gore with it,plenty of laughs and some heart.
But can his girl love a zombie? Now there's a question.

This is the story of Brent and Mike, two high funcioning zombies. They meet after death and set out on a journy to find a lost love.
Highly entertaining movie, yes very corny aswell, the on screen chemistry between the two leads is great and charasmatic enough to hold your attention.
If your a little tired of the same old zombie formular give this one a go, its a refreshing new twist on the zombie genre, don't take it too serious and you will enjoy this zombie buddy film

This was my highlight of the year so far, an intelligent and incredibly fun horror comedy from the lands of the liberty.

Unlike most zombie films that exist purely for the horror of it and the mindless savagery of the undead, some of these zombies seem to be able to exist with full faculties and this makes for an incredibly enjoyable romantic zombie romp as the recently revived Michael seeks to restart his love life with the girl he was going to marry before her dad killed him!!

Teaming up with Brent, another recent revivee (new word) who reluctantly agrees to help him win back his old/new flame; they must outwit a secret organisation and her dad to win her back and strike a blow for the recently revived.

This is a mad and brilliant film that is totally worth your time.
