The EC11 is the worlds smallest espresso machine and is designed for people who want something unique. The product is filled from the top with the in built safety cap which prevents opening the boiler while the product is pressurised. The thermocream and maxicappucinno system silent delivers high quality espresso and cappuccino. Easy to clean and ideal for anyone looking for something that little bit different.

It feels quite sturdy and thoughtfully designed, everything fits nicely, noslip base, nice and quiet (unlike a *cough* Gaggia on all the above). The frother is powerful enough to easily whip up long lasting foam. It would have been nice to see a more expensive finish on the actual chamber plastics, oh for a chromed version, but all in all a great machine for the price and a bit of a looker to boot.
Fast Boiler Heat up
Good Steam pressure for frothing
And I find that this little Delongi EC11 makes coffee that easily matches any high street coffee shop with its 11 bar pressure producing creamy espresso and wonderfully fluffy and creamy frothy milk.
I have had the EC11 for a month now and am as you can tell very satisfied with it and I hope I'm not tempting fate by writing a good review for it for it to then let me down. But for now it's great for the money especially with Amazon's offer.
Incidentally this very same machine is also sold under a different name for a lot more money on some other sites.
The machine comes with a little jug to fill the boiler with and to froth the milk in as well as a measuring spoon.
The only downside to the machine is the capacity of the boiler due to the smallness of the whole unit therefore what I find I need to do is froth the milk with the machine first for two cups worth then refill the boiler for the coffee or vice versa not a problem if you do not want the milk frothed of course.
So far I have just used fresh beans from starbucks that I use a bean grinder with.
Great little unit.
-bad customer service (DeLonghi)
-coffee machine will drive you mad if you have friends and want to make 2 or 3 coffee one after another
-if you're still using this machine after 4-5 months you're far too lucky!
You can see I have really changed my mind!
three or four months of heaven again, admittedly every couple of weeks it tripped everything and needed a clean. Then even the cleaning did nothing. So now I have a rather cool looking ornament.
Great Coffee, shoddy product.
I had some frothing issues a couple of times, where there was not enough pressure behind the steam. A few weeks ago, the frother stopped working altogether. I have de-scaled the machine twice now, which has not solved the problem. As the built up steam has no escape, the machine has started to spout steam and hot water from the top. The plastic cover is not secure, and I have to stand back when making coffee to avoid getting hit.
It still makes nice espresso, but frothing milk for latte is now too time consuming!
