Format: DVD
This is a well-written documentary with each short episode flicking between different persons directly involved in the lead up to the second Gulf War. It manages to capture some of the intensity of those grim days; achieving this mainly through some very fine acting performances. The final episode with Ken Branaugh as Col Tim is particularly moving. The performance is reminiscent of his show as Henry V and as inspiring yet depressingly resigned. Only critism is I guess that it could not ever live up to the intensity of the real life drama of that time when people were glued to their TVs for updates if not out demonstrating. Highly recommended.

Leading up to the invasion of Iraq, this tells the true stories of key people and events involved.
With 9 or 10 short films (at around 15 minutes each) it shows how cabinet ministers fought to stop the war (and how it eventually started anyway) and leads closer to the day of the invasion where it focuses on the frontline troops and their attitude towards the illegal war.
