The only negative thing I can think of is the cotton sheet. Ironing it was an hour mission as it comes out of the packaging very creased. I recommend buying some office bulldog clips to keep the backdrop as crease free as possible when in use. The backdrop is the one thing I will be upgrading first as it is very thin like a cheap bedsheet. Folding it over helps.
The carry bag fits everything well. I suggest keeping most of the packaging to keep it all safe whilst in this bag.
If you're on a budget or a beginner then this is perfect.
The next day I setup and took some great portraits - far better than anything I have done before. The temperature of the bulbs is about 5500k as advertised and beautiful light. The continuous lights enable me to adjust more easily than investing in strobes at this time, and are giving me the chance to develop experience and techniques before spending big money.
The white backdrop is a waste of time and I will have to replace it with seamless paper. It is too big, too creased, you can't iron it because it is a man-made fibre or plastic and doesn't hang evenly. But, its a start. It cuts easily with scissors so I've trimmed it to suit my needs.
For £100 it is worth 5 stars but the poor backdrop means I have to knock off a star.

This is ok, but not the best, but what do you expect for the price, you get so much for the price. But its not the same quality as some of the others.Published 18 months ago by A. Metcalfe
