This book is excellent and I enjoyed it, although some of the behaviour of the characters was a little juvenile considering their ages were in the late 20's, but I loved the ending of all their stories as they were not sickly sweet as they often are in love stories.
All the action takes place on Valentines Day, with lots of innuendos, miss-understandings and some general confusion.
I do agree with another comment I read about this book, it would make a fabulous light romantic film. It has a touch of the Brian Rix about it (some of you younger ones are wondering, 'who's Brian Rix'?.
As I said, this is the second book of this author that I have read, what stands out for me in his writing is; the characters are real, situations are normal but obviously elaborated on for literary purpose, there are not pages and pages of flowery descriptions, I find that so boring, and although personal relations are at the core if his stories, he is confident enough in his story line not to have to rely on bedroom scenes to sell his book AND they are fun to read.
