HASH(0x8bab57f8) out of 5 stars The Day Her Heart Stood Still by Susan Grant 22 Sept. 2013
By Alicia Carter/ Alice Addie - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
Who has not dreamed of what's out there. Who doesn't want to meet their other half ,and if they should be a dreamy out of this world guy who would take you to other worlds all the better. This shows our wants as well as our fears. Some people would want to destroy anyone or anything they don't understand, and others would want to take advantage of anything that would make their power grow. You'll have to read it to find the best way to get together with no harm to anyone. I chose this rating because it was very well written and interesting and I to would to see other worlds. Caught my fantasy just the way I dreamed it as a child. May we all have such dreams ,and may they come true. Untill than we'll just read book's . The only thing I didn't like was that it ended to soon. I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of 18. Hope you continue this book at another time, the getting together of aliens and earth, and both males and females of earth with the aliens.
Thanks for the good read. aliceaddie 12@yahoo.com

HASH(0x8baba978) out of 5 stars Enjoyable Susan Grant Novel 7 Sept. 2015
By Babycakes - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I was very pleased to find a new Susan Grant novel, having read all of her previous novels and series. This book was a little shorter than I would have liked, almost like an extended short story, and did not allow for a great deal of character development or plot twists. There was a likable heroine, an astronaut, and a charming hero, and a satisfying happy ending. But I would have liked to have seen the relationship develop a little more slowly, instead of taking off like a rocket based on purely physical attraction. I also would have enjoyed learning more about the training and selection process for astronauts, to better explain the heroine's dedication and choices. But I'll take a new Susan Grant book any day. Her books are unique among science fiction/fantasy books I have read for having a plausible the recurring theme of "Seeders" explaining the reason for aliens being as human as ourselves, and therefore, eligible for romance.

HASH(0x8baba93c) out of 5 stars Romantic novella 29 Jun. 2013
By P. Motes - Published on Amazon.com

I enjoy Susan Grant's writing, especially the early works. Her characters are blends of what she knows-- the military, flight, and human desire-- with some futuristic speculation. In this story, the action (and the romance) develops quickly. Grant's sense of humor is also a factor in this piece, and the contrast of the straight-laced astronaut daughter with her UFO hunting mother is fun. The extra terrestrial hero is typical Grant, a golden skinned guy who really, really loves the heroine.

We all want love that never fails, don't we?

HASH(0x8babac6c) out of 5 stars Susan Grant Rarely Fails to Deliver a Great Read 26 Jun. 2013
By BFLGroupie - Published on Amazon.com

I have read nearly all of Grant's books. As a writer, she manages to make her characters come alive. Although I have absolutely zero aviation experience, Grant does a great job weaving her own piloting experience into her stories which makes for more creditable descriptions. Few grammatical errors makes for a pleasant reading experience. I like that there are less graphic sex scenes but more romance building.

HASH(0x8babac90) out of 5 stars It was funny, charming and endearing 25 Feb. 2015
By SeldenM - Published on Amazon.com

This book stands head and shoulders above the rest in the genre. The characters are likeable and believable, and the plot is very well constructed. There was nothing in this story that I found cliché. It was funny, charming and endearing. If you are into sci-fi, humor, adventure and romance, I'm sure you will enjoy this book.
