I adored the story of Dax and Asha. They were both strong characters, well written and great to explore. I loved the battles they went through, the 'will they, should they' moments, even though we knew they would! The internal struggles of the family issues, Dax making a name for himself, it all helped to make the book a great one to read. The passion between Dax and Asha was hot, raunchy and well written. My only issue was there were a few missing words and a few spelling issues, made up words etc that took the shine off slightly but it didn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the book. I received a copy of this book from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review.

Such a lovely story about DAX and Asha. DAX living up to his playboy image and thinking his family didn't really get who he really was.
All he wanted was his grandfather to acknowledge that he was good at his chosen sport but never getting it, he was just being put down by his grandfather. so that's where Asha comes in and turns his world upside down.
She's his best friends younger sister and although they try to ignore the mutual attraction it could not be ignored. It turns out to be a raunchy love story and with her love and support he turns everything round and even gets a kind word from Everyone.

Loved this story well worth reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Knocked it out of the park 20 Mar. 2017

The heat that Dax, gives off is enough to melt metal. He's a player and makes no apologies for it. Asha is sweet and only wanted to do her job as as a PR executive. Well she gets straddled with Mr. Pretty Hot and Tempting. While trying to make him look good and get from underneath the shadows of his siblings and grandpa, Dad starts to get under her skin. Did I mention that she's his best friends little sister! This book started off hot, gets hotter by the chapter! I will not give a spoiler on our girl Asha, but she sure is sweet. Do yourself a favor and get this book today!

I keep waiting for Nana to write a bad one. It maybe because I've followed her for so long. I find her books very enjoyable.
I'm waiting for redoing of plot or something but I'm still intrigued. My only eye raise is her female characters keep getting younger. I'm going to feel too old pretty soon.

Loved this story! Ashamed and Dax were trying find approval from their families and their own self-worth, and they found that and so much more! They found love! Good book! I see I'm going to go back and read Bryce's story, the the other guys in this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dax Sees Asha - Asha Tweaks Dax!!! 25 Feb. 2017

How can your review be better than a 5*? When you've given a 5* and you read the next in the series and it's better. DAX is better than Bryce and I gave Bryce a 5* which it deserved. Seldom have I read the second book in the series that's better than the first book. It's usually the third book that's better. DAX is the second "Player" book and it is absolutely better than Bryce which was really good. Dax and Asha are very well developed characters in the book with all of their flaws. Asha's backstory explains how/why she's such an overachiever. Asha thinks her father loves her brother, Damon, and his football achievements more so she's driven to try to prove herself over and over. Asha's father is the only character in the book that I didn't think was as developed as he should have been. As the football commissioner, he probably did hold Damon in higher esteem. However, Asha knows that Damon loves her as she is and finally understands that Dax "sees" her. Dax thinks Bryce and his twin sister, Echo, and even his younger brothers, Fox and Gage are more highly thought of by his grandfather and his parents; therefore, he's the screw-up; and, he tries to live up to that. He didn't realize that Bryce and Echo always "got" him and accepted him as he was. It takes Asha "tweaking" him before he realizes that he really had all that he needed and her faith was never misplaced in him. The Coulters, that you meet in Bryce, are back in DAX; and you're updated on Bryce and Tami -Yea! Dax finally puts his grandfather firmly in his place - Bryce never did. Asha was better received in the family than Tami was at first. I realized that Tami made it easier for the Coulters to accept Asha. The Coulters made mistakes with Tami that wouldn't be repeated. What's wrong with their father? Will Gramps stay in his place? Who's the next player - Echo, Gage or Fox? Can Echo be a "Player' or is it only the males who can be players? Hopefully, these and other questions will be answered in the third series. How in the world will Nana Malone top DAX??? Bring it on!!!
