As part of Ang'dora Productions Review Crew I was able to read Morgan Wylie’s Dawn of the Witch Hunters as an advance review copy.
Every town has tales of its past, Havenwood Falls is indeed no different. Intent on escaping her half-crazed witch hunter brother Dante and other members of her family, Marie Blackstone, herself a witch hunter, flees with her human brother, father and her local witch coven and sets out to find a new place to call home. The group makes its way across rough country, picking up other supernaturals on the way, following an inexorable pull to some far off destination.
Journeys like this are in their very hearts epic in nature and Dawn of the Witch Hunters is definitely an epic tale.
This novella takes up the story of the beginnings of Havenwood Falls beautifully and sets the scene for Morgan Wylie’s Reawakened, which on re-reading featured some familiar names.
