David is an experienced trainer of sports coaches and physical education teachers as well as a successful coach and ski instructor in his own right. As a specialist in performance analysis and conditioning, David has been a consultant on sports specific training programmes for Premiership footballers & clubs, American football National champions, US women`s basketball as well as international athletes (from 100m Olympians to World Records in Ultra-marathon, Olympic swimmers and Alpine Ski Olympians). He has an extensive and unique background as Head of University Sport and Exercise Sciences departments, Principal lecturer in coaching sciences, and as a professor of biomechanics in the United States. David has worked extensively with sports physiotherapists, athletic trainers, sports therapists, strength & conditioning coaches, and high performance coaches across a wide variety of sports; for evidence based skill development, fitness, injury prevention, and reconditioning. He has presented at over 30 International Conferences and authored over 35 articles on sports coaching and as well as previous handbooks on coaching athletics and teaching physical education. After researching knee and back problems David presented on knee and back injuries at the World Science and Ski Congress in 2010 and 2013 on the latest evidenced based practice on knee and back injuries at the 2011 Interski Congress. He is the author of "Fitness and Motor Control for Skiers, their knees and backs" and also the author of Kindle eBooks "Performance Analysis is Skiing" and "Running Faster"
