There are some negative reviews here... I'm so glad I didn't listen and bought these books anyway. Especially, since now I completely disagree. We love the yucky sucker with the bug stuck to it! We say EWWWWWW! Don't eat that!!! And my daughter, on her own, said you can't eat food off the floor! That's how smart kids are, and how this can be a good opportunity to teach kids - the sucker must have been on the floor and now you can't eat it. And yes, there's a page that says don't touch the dog. In my house, we have 2 cats, and guess what? I tell my son not to touch the cats. So we can relate. (I pet the cat with his hand and say "nice" to teach him, but he's young yet. If the cat jumps into the living room and I'm not right there, my son can be a little too rough. So we just say leave the cat alone ;p ) And their favorite page? "PU David!" We interchange the words from the 2 books (Are you stinky?) because there's a similar page in each. We also say PU STINKY! when my son's diaper is full, so, again, we can relate. Overall, short & sweet, and our new favorites.
