An excellent user oriented guide to start one using the G16 - an extremely complex computer on board a very compact camera. The first few chapters are very readable, but stretch the user's knowledge of what can be done. The latter chapters (which I have not got to in detail yet!) spell out in more detail how to achieve the desired result. The book is written very much in the style of a personal chat.
This does not displace the Canon User Guide, which is a much more condensed feature by feature manual, but without starting with the question "How do I ...... ?" So as one learns the capabilities of the camera, but still needs the detail procedure in each case, the Canon manual remains useful and can be carried about on a memory stick.
