there was no review of this when i bought it, its rubbish , only a couple of real bits of bowie , the rest is talking head or scanned photos , it would fill a bit of cheap tv , but no need to own as a bowie fan , and as the woody allen joke goes its not long either

Nothing new on this DVD there is no Bowie music at all. Some of the clips and interviews I have seen before on other DVDs.

this is to be avoided- a bunch of shallow comments, cliches and hyper-edited clips (with thrash metal backing tracks!). I watched about 5 minutes of it, before chucking it on the charity pile. Should've binned it, really...

I really like good quality music based documentaries but this is nothing of the sort. Its amongst the worst i've ever seen. The History Channel should concentrate on the second world war and Tudor England -- which to be fair they normally cover very well - but they don't make good music docs if this is anything to go by...
