Fit to the clip holes on the back of the Xbox, plug in and switch on. Follow the on-screen instructions and in less than 5 mins you are up and connected to your wireless network. Cheaper than the official Microsoft alternative but I still think it is expensive compared to an ordinary wireless dongle. On the whole worth it though as it is designed to fit discretely to the x-box and so far the wireless connection has has been fast and reliable.

I purchased this adapter for my little girls Xbox as she wanted to get online to play Minecraft with her friends. As soon as I plugged in the Datel adapter it immediately scanned for all available networks. I choose our home wifi, entered the password and that was it. It could not have been easier to set up the connection.

She has now been playing on Xbox Live for almost 2 weeks and it's only dropped connection once which I think was due to too many items sharing the wifi at the same time which isn't usually the case.

Very good value against the official adapter and would have no problem recommending this to anyone that has older model Xbox without the built in Wifi

had it for 3 months near enough and no faults
it will only disconnect you from xbox live if you are at a far distance from your router
For example, when i am in my living room right next to the router i dont get disconnected. But when im in my bedroom which is abit far away i get disconnected sometimes
Still works a charm and glad i saved around £10 compared to the microsoft official version
definitely recommend to someone with an old xbox who doesn't want to keep etherneting to their laptop

The adapter gave a great wall to wall signal, with fantastic speed response, one small issue was that they will not clip directly onto the back of the xbox360S as there are no holes for the clips on the adapter, however it sit's on the top just fine

I've been using this for a few months, and when it does work, it usually catches a good connection (a much better connection that my phone or laptop seem to be able to get through the walls). However, it does have a tendency to randomly drop signal at times, requiring it to be unplugged and plugged in again when the lights flash. Needless to say, this can be rather irritating during online gaming.
