I think this book is in two parts. There is the life story of Jonas, a young man, who wants to live an unusual life, and as he has been left an unimaginably big amount of money, he does the most outrageous things, living in a flat in Rome for 2 years and never leaving it, having a tree house built in Sweden , pointlessly travelling around the world etc. This part of the book becomes more and more incredible and impossible.. The part I like is the description of the experiences of Jonas when he tries to climb mount Everest. The description of the camps and the atmosphere of danger and fear are outstandingly well described. It is definitely the best part of the book and worth reading just for that.
