These are great gin glasses. Cheaper gin glasses are quite chunky and look more like goblets due to the thick glass. However if you are looking for sophisticated glasses to serve your gin look no further.
The only downside is that i doubt they would survive a very hot dishwasher cycle.I either hand wash or use a warm/cool dishwasher cycle

the Box is also very nice so you could also give these as a gift

A Nice Glass That Just Feels A Little Too Fragile

I am not a big Gin drinker but having splashed out on a couple of flavoured Gins on Amazon (which tasted fantsatic) I decided it would be nice to drink out of a proper Gin glass than a glass tumbler. I did a bit of reading about Gin glasses and the experts suggest you go for this particular shape, the balloon style Gin and Tonic glass, they have a wideer bowl which traps the botanical aromas inside the glass giving you a greater taste and appreciation for the gin you’re drinking. The large capacity allows for plenty of ice and lime to be mixed in with a traditional G & T, as well as fruit based Gins.

The Glasses themselves are exactly as described, they do feel a little fragile, you wouldn't want to wash them in a bowl with anything else in it, you probably wouldn't want to put them in a dishwasher either as they are a little light weight and you definitely wouldn't want to risk clinking them together in a toast. A great glass for the occassional drinker, the Gin connoisseur would probably want something a little less fragile.

Size wise, just about right, I'd love to give these a 5 star rating but they're just a tad too fragile feeling for me to give more than three stars.

Can't quite believe the quality of these for the price. Perfect for gin and tonics (or lots of wine...). Nice to hold and they have that beautiful crystal 'ding' to them. Would definitely buy them again, either for myself or as a gift.

I ordered a couple of boxes of these glasses, for use at Christmas by keen gin drinkers (myself and my family!). All 4 glasses arrived safe and sound, no damage, they were well packaged. They're a really nice size, not so large that you feel you're drinking out of a goldfish bowl but big enough to carry your gin, mixer and garnish and be able to appreciate the aromas. I can't vouch for the durability of these as yet, because I'll be cracking these bad boys out in a few days time, but after having read that they need to be handled with some care, I will be keeping them out of the dish washer and treating them gently when cleaning. But really looking forward to creating some festive tipples in these in a few days time!
