Only the Face cards including Jokers (numbering 18 cards total) have any artwork. With the sheer massive scale of the Mass Effect universe they could have easily put a different character / race on each card... but instead this reeks of laziness and shows a complete lack of interest / enthusiasm for the series.
I know these playing cards surfaced around the same time as Mass Effect 2 (2011), but even back then there was plenty of ME content to choose from to have made each card unique and special. There is no Reaper card (WTF) and the reverse of all the cards is a s**ty, generic N7 design.
Seriously, if I'm spending more than a fiver on a deck of playing cards I expect more than this... I suppose the quality of the cards seems acceptable (rather glossy finish)... but that said I am yet to play a hand so cant comment on life-span. Dark Horse Comics - you really missed the saddle on this one...
Ace - The Illusive Man
King - Commander Shepard (Male)
Queen - Miranda Lawson
Ace - Jacob Taylor
King - Zaeed Massani
Queen - Kasumi Goto
Jack - Legion
Ace - Liara T'soni
King - Garrus Vakarian
Queen - Tali'Zorah Nar Rayya
Jack - Thane Krios
Ace - Collector General
King - Mordin Solus
Queen - Samara
Jack - Grunt
And of course, the Jokers are... Joker.
All in all would recommend, just remember they are playing cards not masterpieces!
Mine was very disappointing. To begin with, the contrast on the N7 picture on the backs of all cards was very lacking. This wasn't black, but very dark grey. Next, the art on the cards themselves. Small black spots that ruin the looks of cards; visible scratches when held against the light (this is supposed to be a brand new product); small white spots that ruin the looks of cards; an overall faded look for some character cards as if you had put them out in the sun for too long (eg. Tali).
Probably the most damaged card for me is Garrus Vakarian (black spots everywhere), followed by Jacob Taylor, where the yellow on his Cerberus logo is extremely pale and faded.
Conclusion: don't bother with these. Well, you might get lucky and receive a perfect set (I hope you do), but chances are you'll find yourself making use of the amazon return policy in the near future if you do order this product, just as I am. I have added pictures for your convenience in the image gallery.
