None of the chapters seem to drag out, and there isn't any unnecessary information added in it. It's a fast paced book, and all the details and description can easily be imagined and played in your head much like a movie.
The characters, I have to say, are interesting. There's a difference between each one of them, therefore easily remembering which characters are which - which is a huge plus because there is quite a handful of them. Each character has their own personality, their own faults, problems, etc. None of them are the same, which is absolutely amazing because many books have characters that are pretty similar to one another. None of the characters are bland or 2D, and I often find myself being able to relate to most of them, and the ones I wasn't able to relate to, I was fascinated by them, wanting them to make more appearances.
The overall plot and book were certainly well thought out - I have to give the author props for that. Each word was not wasted, and everything happened for a reason. Like I said before, there wasn't any unnecessary information added onto the book.
There was quite a handful of memorable moments in this book, especially at the beginning. But, just a heads up, the ending is probably the most memorable plot twist yet, filling you with so much emotion - most of which may or may not be shock. I'd love to say more about it but I'm afraid that if I do, I might spoil it for those who haven't read this story yet, or had gotten to the parts that I want to mention.
All I have to say is that this story is a great read with a lot of potential, and the book trailer is definitely worth checking out. It was well-made and a complete teaser trailer that will leave you wanting to give the book a shot, or if you've already read it, then it will make you want to re-read it all over again.
