However, the romance was a bit fast and intense and some time I felt like there was no depth to the characters. I really liked the twists with Eugene and I really liked Gabriel as a character but I didn't really feel connected to any of them enough to care about what h happened to them. At some points I think ie was thinking `if these two were real would they honestly have done the things they did?!`- like when Melissa leaves him when he's under attack or when she told her dad what they had said about his job....I wouldn't have mentioned it as it was obviously going to upset him. I don't know just little things like that made me feel I unconnected as I really couldn't imagine people in the real world find what the char(acters here did, or I didn't know the characters well enough to understand their reasoning.
All in all the storyline was really good and will probably keep me reading the whole series, however I felt there was some f flaws but I'm a little picky and it is meant for teens.
