Product description

Product Description

Originally formed in 1985 as a Black Flag-influenced hardcore punk band called Virulence, FU MANCHU has since become one of hard rock's most celebrated names. The band released its first single Kept Between Trees in 1990 and in the years following, helped give rise to a celebrated style of heavy music tagged stoner rock alongside peers such as Kyuss, Monster Magnet and Sleep. Since its inception, the quartet has built itself a fanatical army of loyal enthusiasts all drawn to the group's ridiculously catchy, unpretentious music, guitar-driven sound and carefree lyrics centered on"old muscle cars, choppers, vans, skateboarding and science fiction.

This album is not Fu Manchu's "No One Rides for Free", but is in fact thier other work "Daredevil". Its a good solid album, but its irritating that Amazon made such a simple slip up, as i now have to return it and get what i was really after.

When i watched the film on video i thought the film was an alright film but not great, but what really helped me get through the the film was the magnificent soundtracks which were used all throught the film featuring songs from Evanescence to rob zombie. For ages i waited for the official soundtrack to come out and when it did i was very impressed. Great songs from evanescence like "bring me to live" and "my immortal" were really great and really makes the soundtrack worth buying.
