Daniel Britton is the creator of The Financial Fairy Tales series of children's books, inspirational stories which share money values, tools and techniques with children.
His expertise in financial education comes from a combination of his first career in financial services with over fifteen years’ as a teacher and school leader, enabling him to bring essential financial concepts to life.
According to Daniel, "There has never been a more important time to teach children about money. School systems are programming children for a world that for many no longer exists. The Financial Fairy Tales provide an inspirational and entertaining way to give the next generation the inner beliefs and habits, plus the practical tools to win the money game".
The Financial Fairy Tales series currently has three award winning story books plus an activity book and a guide for teachers and parents. The teaching materials have been recommended by Personal Financial Education Group in the UK and listed by the Jumpstart Coalition for Financial Education in the US.
The Troll Bridge released May 2014 tells the story of a hidden valley with only one way in or out, via an arched bridge. Years ago a Troll moved in and started charging people to cross. Everyone eventually accepted this as the norm until a young boy dared to question why.
Daniel works extensively with schools both in the UK and internationally to bring financial education to parents and children, teachers and pupils.
He is the founder of the Personal Finance Academy which provides online financial education to teens and young adults.
His first non-fiction book The Goals Workshop is now available for Kindle
