I have always been a little disappointed with my speakers. Although sound was generally very good, especially voices, I always felt my speakers struggled with high frequencies, for example cymbals on drums.

I had some Cambridge audio speaker cable from the high street, not the cheapest, and always thought that anything more expensive would simply be a placebo effect.

I was wrong.

These cables genuinely and noticeable improved my sound. Much punchier bass, and the issue with high frequencies? Completely not an issue. Simply put, my speakers sound right, in fact they sound amazing. Was only going to listen to a song after wiring them up. Ended up listening to 3 albums, back to back.

Highly Recommended.

Especially since, for the price, they cost about the same as my old cable (given that I doubled up for bi-wiring my speakers). Am actually a little miffed that I didn't do this sooner.

For reference I have a Marantz 6002 CD player, Onkyo 609 amplifier and Mordaunt Short 914i front speakers.

Very impressed with the improvements in sound. More depth to bass sounds and a less demanding treble response with my Kef Q5 speakers. Also, very flexible cable making it easy to connect and install.

This cable costs about £137 to buy a 50 metre reel -- that's 2.74 per metre inc. handling, packing, etc. So if you only need a few metres, I'd say £4 per metre is pretty fair.

I bought this to replace 20 year old QED 79-strand feeding Tannoy DC3000 floorstanders. The biggest improvement is that it has gone a long way to taming the somewhat bloated bass these speakers were notorious for. It also brought noticeable improvements in the soundstage imaging and slightly sweetened the treble. Bought based on reviews only (always a gamble), but very pleased with the results - especially at this price.
