Yes there were a few minor errors, but it didn't spoil the book at all. It was very well written and flowed well. I had never heard of Troy McCombs, but since reading this one, I've started another one of his books and plan to read them all.
Brilliant, harrowing book, and highly recommended!
Previous reviews mentioned grammatical errors, but to be honest I never noticed this was probably due to being a great story. It kept me interested throughout the whole book and yes he was a murderer but I felt sorry for him, and I wished that he could tell his mom.
I had never heard of this author and am glad that I got this book. I am now off to see what other books he has written
"...on even theeven when"......that was the first classic followed by "why who her son was" and crockedcrooked/sautesaute/lent lint.......in quick succession. None of which make any sense whatsoever and any self-respecting editor should have sorted out before publishing. Page 16 and forth grade was referred to and I lost the will to live.
Adam...... loser? Psycho? loner? Or just plain weird? You'll hate him, love him, pity him, he'll disgust you, and he'll make you proud.
This book will take you to the limit of gore your stomach can take.
I completed it in 2 sittings. I genuinely couldn't put it down. Yes, there are typo's, but its worth ignoring them for the quality of the story.
