Review

The dailygreatness journal has been a wonderful tool to help me create some specific goals and keep me focused on what I want to achieve. I want this year to be an inspirational one that increases my potential and direction, and the DG journal is helping me to do that. --Linda S.

What a wonderful concept, and so beautifully done. I ve now completed the journal and (want) to acknowledge you for doing such a great job in putting it all together. Such an amazing achievement that will help so many people gain clarity around their goals and live their life s purpose more fully. You re an inspiration! --Sue McGary www.frenchaffair.com.au

I've been using the dailygreatness journal now for a few weeks and hardly have to think about getting up early or taking time to meditate anymore. The intentions and inspired actions put me into a positive spirit and I feel like I am a more optimistic person already. It has also inspired me to take my fitness more seriously and I've started with morning walks at least 3-4 times a week. --Maria Lundkvist

The Dailygreatness Journal is a year's journal, more or less day-to-page (although there is a different page shown for the end of the week).

The idea is to put into practice all the information you might have read from inspirational books in the past. The journal gives you 90 day reviews where you plan out your goals for the following 90 days. It asks you various motivating questions on a daily basis and encourages you to be grateful and think about the better things in your life. There is space for reminders and appointments, and you are encouraged to meditate and take part in other soul-nourishing activities.

This journal isn't cheap, but it is fantastic quality. It has a soft but very sturdy cover, and good quality thick pages. It's colourful and well laid out and appealing inside. But it still looks functional, it looks pretty but is not so pretty that you're afraid to write in it.

This really is a fantastic journal as long as you make the effort to use it. Of course, the effort must come from you in the first place, but this is such a joy to use that it's not too much of a hardship. The daily questions encourage you to think about your life and your goals and dreams. Even after a few weeks of using it I find it extremely motivating, and I love that every 90 days you stop, have a think about what is working and can change it up as you find yourself changing. You also get a weekly review section where you can go over what is and is not working for you.

Overall, this is really worth the asking price, it's beautifully made and a lot of thought has gone into it. If you want to change your life, this is a pretty good place to start!

I bought this journal a few weeks ago and it is already proving to be an incredibly useful resource. It's flexible format means that you can start using it at any time of the year and it is so well designed that it is a pleasure to refer to each day.

As well as guiding you through the daily steps that are necessary to create the life that you want, the journal encourages you to think about your long-term goals, your values and any areas of your life that are currently out of balance.

I'd recommend spending a few weeks working on the introductory questions before diving in to daily journalling as this will give you a strong foundation to make changes and a useful reminder of the things that really matter in your life.

I've been up to my ears, like many people, in work, family life and so on - and was beginning to feel like I was drowning in to-do lists, hazy goals and unfinished or unstarted attempts at regular exercise. Days bled into one another and the 'bigger picture' wasn't very clear.

This book is expensive, and it's' not ever so clear even from the website *exactly* what's in it - but since it arrived it's more than met my expectations.
The book itself is soft-cover, but quite sturdy. The design, colours, even the slightly mottled paper are all ever so beautiful, and it feels like very good quality, smooth paper. So when you read the commitment on page 1 to practising the daily steps to 'upgrade' your life, it does have a psychological effect - I really did feel like this was something special.

The book reminds me of a mix between a kind of bullet-journal and CBT-style analysis of how you're doing, with daily spaces to write a few sentences about how you're doing in your goals, in your day, in your behaviours and interactions.
It guides you into thinking about your values, your life-time and shorter-term goals, and with a mixture of straightforward questions and suggested areas, helps you to focus on what on earth you're doing from day to day.

There are pages to write your life-long plans, your yearly goals, 90 day goals, weekly goals and then daily todos (with a schedule broken down into hours on each page).
The amount of writing and dissecting is obviously up to the user, but once you've sorted out the bigger goals, the actual daily input can be fairly minimal - there are tickboxes provided for exercise etc. and it's organised, so easy to see what you're doing.

These journals are great. All the self help books rolled into one little journal. I bought one for myself a few months back. It's completely changed my outlook on life. I wouldn't look back. The best £40 I ever spent!

Recommended. I use this every day. It's all about the implementation!!

Minuses - A little new age in parts and the diary section is annoying as dark and therefore appointments don't show up well when you write them in.

£35 may seem a lot for what is labelled a journal, but this so much more. Having never been a journal keeper I was slightly sceptical but I felt like I needed something to get me back on track; in my career, friendships and emotionally and this exceeded my expectations.

Before you even start the daily log it gets you to really focus on what you've achieved and where you're heading with self-awareness power questions and your greatness blueprint. You then plan your next 90 days and every day take just 5-10 minutes in the morning to log what it is you want from the day and again in the evening to log what you achieved. I've now been doing this for 2 months and can honestly say I feel more focused and positive than I have in a while.

If you're willing to be honest with yourself and commit to daily journal entries then I really recommend this.
