Everything about it is good. Looks good (red), size is right, nice shape for the hand, it works right out of the box (after drivers load automatically on inserting the mini usb). I leave the mini usb in all the time and the mouse is ready to use on boot up (Win 7). Batteries last very well. It's so good that we're buying another one (blue) for the Acer net book. Yes - I've alredy made sure it loads and works. Wired mouses are so passe darlings. Get one of these.

Update: Bought the first one in April 2012 and it's still working well in every day use in August 2013. If it packed up today I would have no hesitation in getting another at this price.

Update: May 2015 and still as good as new in looks and function at 3 years old with almost daily use (and some abuse).

Bought this to replace a many-years-old Daffodil wired laptop mouse that I've been using, whose wire is getting temperamental.
This works well. I've deliberately been using it when docked in the office as well as on the move, to get used to it and check its reliability.
It works fine - it has variable DPI (how fast it moves), though no indication of the current setting (as I have on a Dell that shows LEDs for the speed setting).
It's responsive, light and fits nicely in my hand - it's quite small (as I wanted for portable laptop use).
I'm still running on the supplied cheap batteries after a week and a half of 8-hour-a-day use. I've been careful to turn it off when stopping for the evening. It does go to sleep after inactivity (e.g. over lunchtime) and seems to need a button press to wake (not just movement), but that has caused no problems (middle-button press works and won't generally cause any accidental inadvertent mouse-clicks in applications).
I've been leaving the Bluetooth USB key permanently in, since it's small enough not to get caught on things.

I received great service from the supplier in that they replaced the first mouse I got due to a faulty battery connection ..unfortunately the replacement did not work either due to the same reason. I am giving up now, I cannot expect them to keep sending me replacements, but I cannot recommend the product at all. I am going to buy one from a local supplier so that I can take it back if it fails and also buy a trusted brand.Maybe I need to spend a few more pounds

Buy it. Get it. Open it. Put batteries in. Lob the dongley thingy (that's stored in the bottom of the mouse) in a USB port. Switch mouse on (switch underneath) and off you go. DONE!
There's a button behind the scroll wheel that toggles between mouse sensitivity (well, how far it goes around the screen compared to how far you shove the mouse, whatever lol).
Just what I wanted and SO INEXPENSIVE!! You could pay stackes more for something that will only do exactly the same thing but why? Why would you? And this looks cool in that glossy deep metalflake red. Spinal Tap would give it SIX stars.

So far so good, had it for about a week now and it's really good quality. Feels a little cheap but it performs very well with my mac. The USB part is in a hole on the bottom of the mouse and was a little hard to get out first time (just wiggle it) but then it was really easy :D

My previous logitec wireless mouse wouldn't work on the mat that came with my wrist rest; and then it started acting up. I thought I'd have to pay £20 plus for a good replacement. Then along came the Daffodil. So far, 2/3 weeks, I have no complaints. Neat little USB receiver, works fine on my Sandberg wrist rest mat,
just big enough for my (admittedly big) hands, enough range that I could use it as a remote mouse when presenting and very good value. I'm tempted to buy another to have as standby for whenever this one decides to give up. Even if it only last 12 months it would be much better value than the logitec I had before.
Later addition: so now I've had it for eight months. I am still using it with my PC but mainly through inertia. It unpredictably starts to stutter and lose connection. Each time I switch it off, take out the batteries, unplug the USB receiver and then reverse the process; which generally sorts it out. I have got through a lot more batteries than I expected and I now wouldn't trust it to use it as a remote mouse when presenting.
I may go back to a wired mouse.

Bought this to take on holiday with me. Didn't plug it in until i was out of the country. Big disappointment when the laptop installed the driver for the transmitter but the mouse arrow wouldn't move. Tried it on 3 other laptops, same thing happened. Bought 2 new batteries in case the ones supplied were dud, it still won't work. Waiting to go back home and return it to Amazon. I just hope they will still refund me.
